Tiles - Product guide

Getting started

Each tray has built-in magnets along the sides. Place them next to each other and they'll snap together.

There's no fixed arrangement — try a few until you find one that fits your desk. Or keep them separate. It all works.

The cork base grips the desk surface gently and protects it from scratches.

Caring for your Tiles

- Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid harsh cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials.
- The cork base may darken slightly over time — this is a natural process and doesn't affect how it works.

- Tiles are designed for ambient indoor conditions. Prolonged exposure to outdoor weather or moisture will affect the material and finish.

A note on the materials

Tiles are 3D printed from plant-based PLA filament, which is a bioplastic on it's own, and the one we use is also filled with a percentage of vegetable fibres. The matte, layered finish is a result of the printing process, and small surface variations are normal. They don't affect the function or durability of the trays.

Safety information

Not for food storage

The PLA material itself is non-toxic, but the 3D printing process creates a porous surface where bacteria and mould can develop over time. Please don't use Tiles to store or come into contact with food.

Keep away from high heat

PLA can deform at temperatures above 50 °C / 122 °F. Keep Tiles away from heat sources and out of direct sunlight for extended periods.

Magnets

The magnets are fully embedded and not accessible during normal use. That said, keep Tiles away from electronic medical devices such as pacemakers, as magnets may interfere with them.

Not a toy

Tiles are not intended for use by children. This product is designed for adults.

Disposal and recycling

When it's time to part ways, please don't throw Tiles in general waste.
The PLA material is biodegradable, but requires industrial composting conditions to break down properly. You can find a recycling point near you that accepts 3D printed parts at world.prusa3d.com.

The shipping box and paper packaging are recyclable — dispose of them according to your local recycling rules.
