Things Designs is a small design studio creating curated home office accessories through a refined combination of digital fabrication and natural materials.

The studio brings together backgrounds in engineering and architecture to develop objects that are honest, useful, and quietly beautiful.

This is a very exciting journey for us, and we are happy to have you here.

From hobby to business

What started as a passion for DIY projects quickly evolved into creating functional designs for our own use and sharing them online as TwoThingies.

After a couple years, we took the leap and launched Things Designs.

 

Our philosophy 

Our goal is to craft elegant, functional home-office accessories using environmentally-friendly materials like vegetable-filled bioplastics, natural cork, and wood. With modern manufacturing methods like 3D printing and laser cutting, we’re able to create sustainable, affordable products from a small space.

We believe that in modern design, beauty isn’t just about perfection.

It’s about contrast — between form and texture, precision and imperfection. Every material carries a story.

When we let materials speak for themselves… design becomes honest.

 

Production

Most of our production happens in-house, in our small 20 m² workshop in Turin, Italy where we use 3D printing and laser cutting machines to make small batches of our products. For other processes, like CNC blade cutting for cork, occasional large-scale laser cutting and CNC milling, we partner with local shops to ensure the highest quality. 

We’re committed to recycling leftover materials from our work, including 3D printing scraps and even some packaging from the materials we source.
